The Links That Pay a Commission
Every tour listed on this site links out to a live booking page. When a booking is completed through one of those links, this site receives a commission from the operator or platform on the other side. The four free, tip-based walking tours in the roster work on the same basis: their links also point to booking pages, and a confirmed booking earns this site a fee. Elsewhere on the site, links for hotels, car hire, transfers and similar travel extras earn commission on purchases too. None of that cost lands on you. The price at the till is identical whether you arrived through a link here or found the booking page on your own.
What Earns Nothing at All
Not everything here is monetized. The four pay-what-you-want walks earn nothing, since you only tip the guide if you wish. Advice on places like Feskekôrka or World of Volvo appears with no booking link attached, because tickets are bought at the door or on their own sites. When a link goes straight to an operator's own page, there is no commission in it either. These plain links sit beside the affiliate ones, not behind them, so you can tell the difference by context rather than guesswork.
No Paid Placements Here
No operator pays to appear on this site, and none can buy a higher place in a list. What gets included, and in what order, is an editorial call made before any commercial question is raised. Ratings and review counts shown beside each tour are the booking platforms' own published figures, reproduced exactly. Where a tour's figures could not be confirmed, no number is invented to fill the gap. The same rule applies to prices: they live on the live booking page, not in our copy, because they move.
